Onboarding & Activation

Our investment in capacity-building extends beyond marketing and communications.

We offer curated, four-week programs and deeper-dive twelve-week programs, as well as bespoke arrangements, that enable new senior marketers with a strategic framework to set priorities, align expectations, allocate resources, and innovate. We work within a 90-day framework, focusing on relationship-building, strategic planning, and resource management. We build a set of planning and reporting documents. This foundational work sets the stage for speedy success.

Our one-on-one collaborations have powered up senior marketers at American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, Arden Theatre in Philadelphia, ArtsEmerson in Boston, People’s Light in Malvern, PA, and Writers Theatre on Chicago’s North Shore, among others.

We also offer a Marketing for Non-Marketers workshop. Derived from Robert’s annual lecture to the Graduate Arts Administration program at Chicago’s Roosevelt University, this engaging session invites new artistic directors, executive directors, and trustees—with new ideas about mission, programming, and community—to harness the true power of marketing to inspire SMART strategies.

“Robert’s an ace. The Buffalo Philharmonic contracted with his firm to lead the executive search for a new senior marketing officer and to provide interim leadership while the search was underway. Robert’s search was among the smartest and most robust I’ve seen in the business and his interim leadership produced new ideas and new sales. All on time and all on budget. So impressive, we continue to work with his firm.”
